Can we lock this thread...

There is a Transfers Thread to discuss other Rumours. We know the DCL rumour was rubbish so lets move on!

I can’t see how any top-notch striker could refuse the offer of having a ride in Sullivan’s Rolls Royce.

Broja or Ivan Toney for me. Both would be acceptable to compete with Antonio or even complement him

Sullivan has a number of offers and loan deals in for some highly rated world class centre-backs and strikers. Please be patient, these deals take time and its not easy getting a world class player signed when its a loan offer, final price of £2 mill after the loan period and a £50 Ann Summers gift card to negotiate

Times running out, nice if Sullivan gave us an update on how his negotiations are going!

Broja

Upsets Southampton
Helps us for the rest of the season

Buy back clause? Sell him to Sparta Prague, give Chelsea first option and then buy him back. Clause gone - Robert Jarni to Coventry vibes

There's a guy at Ajax banging them in on a regular basis. Maybe a cheeky 40m offer?

Judging from the size of his head, Cummings could be a great header of the ball.

I can see it all as Sullivan is so full of shit. 'January is a terrible time to buy players and I have been working so hard on getting players in'.

'Is this PSG? How about letting Messi go to us on a loan to buy contact?' 'well that's not very polite is it'?

I genuinely believe that all that shit about how many shit strikers the news sites laughed about him picking has got under his incredibly thin skin.

I know that not every player works out in this league but fucking hell, 40 is taking the piss.

Me either. Looks like they've finally learned from shooting themselves in the foot with Rice, Lukaku, KDB and Salah.

TBH a buyback clause should be something absolutely forbidden in football. It's just another way for big clubs to exercise control and an option over players when they aren't even at the club any more. Like the next evolution of loaning out 20+ players a season from a massive pool of youth talent for a rental fee for several years in case any of them come good. It's absolutely fucked the way those clubs can gobble up all the young talent, keep their rights in case any of them come good, and let other teams do all the development/risk taking with them at their expense only for the parent club to just grab them back as a finished item. It's really wrong.

The problem with broja is the talk of a buy back clause

Can’t see us agreeing to that at all
